Contestants across the country submitted photos/videos of their homes decked out for the holidays from Dec. 8-26. A national Patch judge selected 24 national finalists - and the West Roxbury home is the only national finalist in the Boston Public Schools district.
Each finalist will receive $500 that they can apply to their December electric bill. That's great for Mr. DiSalvo. But the big prize could be for Boston's children.
Starting today through Jan. 8 you will be able to vote for the Best Decked House in all of Patch. The grand prize winner’s school district will receive a $100,000 check from Patch!!
