The Highway Safety Division, with help from the Lexington Police and the Bedford Police, filmed the PSA to encourage safe and sober driving during the holidays.
The video opens with police rushing to help a man who had presumably been driving drunk. He lays bleeding on the road, with cuts ripped through his pants and a brace supporting his neck.

“It’s our hope that these images will instill some common sense this holiday season,” the HSD said of the video.
The video ends with a very simple, but effective message: “Keep the Holidays Happy. Drive Sober.”
