The Eliot Street Coffeehouse (a cooperative venture between notloB Parlour Concerts and the First Church in JP, UU) is in a 3-concert trial period.
This past Friday’s concert was a great success. Word is catching on, attendance was up 40% from the first. After the third presentation (“A Quartet of Berklee String Quartets”, Saturday, December 7) we will be assessing how the series went and if there is both community (meaning patrons buying tickets) and producer/host interest in continuing. We certainly hope so, the hall is an acoustic a gem, and the upside for the future (Fall 2014) is the beautiful 300+ seat sanctuary.
If all parties decide to continue the Eliot Street Coffeehouse, WHO WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE PRESENTED IN A 100-SEAT LISTENING ROOM IN JAMAICA PLAIN IN THE WINTER/SPRING?
