• PrideStar Trinity EMS First Ambulance Co. to Administer Opioid Withdrawal Drug (whav.net) — Lowell is partnering with PrideStar Trinity EMS on a new pilot letting specially trained EMTs give buprenorphine to overdose patients in withdrawal, aiming to keep more people in treatment. Funded with state opioid abatement money approved by the City Council, the program responds to nearly 8,000 opioid-related 911 calls in Lowell since 2011.
   

• Connecticut Officials to Participate in New England Regional Nuclear Policy Summit (ctbythenumbers.news) — Lowell will host New England's 2026 Regional Nuclear Policy Summit at UMass Lowell's Rist Institute, bringing governors' teams and experts together to discuss advanced nuclear and fusion energy.
