The following is an announcement from the town's summer concerts committee:

The season’s last Lynnfield Library Concert will be held Wednesday August 1 from 6-8 p.m. (rain date Thursday) on the Lynnfield Common featuring 60’s Invasion, a show band highlighting music from the 1960’s.

Performing in costume, 60’s Invasion plays popular songs of and pays tribute to such musicians as Elvis Presley, Bob Dylan and Roy Orbison.  One of their segments is entitled the History of Rock which encompasses music and fun facts from 1910 through 1960.  The bands four members have extensive backgrounds and experience in the music industry and their CD was used on the TV series Dawson’s Creek for two seasons.  They appeal to audiences of all ages with an entertaining style that showcases a great mix of hit music with trivia and crowd involvement.
