Today the Mite A group put in one of its best efforts of the season against an evenly matched Winthrop team. Jack Glowacz actually sounded like Paul Coffey himself with an awesome pre-game speech. This fired up the Stars for the drop of the puck. Brendan Heffron, playing his first game in net ever, turned aside shot after shot from the Winthrop team and gave his team a chance. The Stars had multiple opportunities today and kept firing away. The effort today was incredible and the Stars' coaches noticed the improvement from last game. Jimmy Driscoll received the Game Puck for an all around outstanding effort. One can only imagine how good this team can get as the season goes on!
