The committee openings are available now, and the Select Board aims to finalize all appointments at its upcoming meeting on Aug. 17. The invitation is for people who want to help address road, pedestrian and cyclist safety in town to apply.
The town said applicants should submit a letter of interest by email to Town Administrator Robert Dolan at rdolan@lynnfieldma.gov and Assistant to the Town Administrator Mary Cova at mcova@lynnfieldma.gov. Letters should be sent to both officials for consideration.
The committee's work centers on traffic safety issues affecting drivers, walkers and cyclists in Lynnfield. The current call for applicants is tied to open seats on the Traffic Safety Advisory Committee, also identified in the announcement as TSAC.
