Re-elect Scott Brown

A conservative resurgence is on the rise in the Blue Bay State.

Former Governor Mitt Romney is gaining speed little by little over President
Obama. If Romney is elected President, he will be the first President in over
fifty years from Massachusetts (since JFK).

Real Estate agent and Congressional candidate Richard Tisei is mounting a
credible and commanding challenge for the Sixth District on the north side of
Boston, where incumbent John Tierney faces a backlash for his unethical
connections and locked-up wife. For the first time in twenty years,
Massachusetts may send a limited-government conservative to Washington.

Moderate Senator Olympia Snowe of Maine has endorsed incumbent Senator Scott Brown. She had a more liberal record than some of her Senate colleagues, both Democrat and Republican, and she decided not to run for another term precisely because of the partisan gridlock which has paralyzed Washington, the same gridlock that Brown has railed against over and over on the Senate floor.

The Bay State would do herself a service by re-electing Senator Scott Brown, a minority party candidate who pulled off a 53% upset victory in a state whose voter registration was slanted 3-to-1 against him. He campaigned for the People's seat, unsettling any crass claims of a “Kennedy” legacy. From trailing by double digits, Brown campaigned to victory, pledging to stop the passage of ObamaCare, an onerous federal medical insurance mandate, which would have laid a further burden on the residents of Massachusetts.

The last thing that anyone in Old Mass, or in any part of New England, needs to do is to elect another Progressive Democrat into the Senate, one who will not support a judicious repeal of the largest tax increase in modern American politics nor respect the independence of the Commonwealth against the growing size and dominance of the federal government.

Senator Brown has more than made his case to Bay State residents. He votes his conscience, he respects the will of his constituents, yet his presence in the Senate ensures that every state in the Union, including Massachusetts, will retain its sovereignty in the years ahead.

Scott Brown deserves to keep the senate seat in November. The Obama-Warren
brand is a failure, one mired with unemployment, overregulation, and no real
recovery. The empty war-whooping of "Wall Street" coming out of Harvard
Professor Elizabeth Warren’s tribe of illiberal statism does not stick to Brown
nor dissuade voters from sending an open and reliable centrist back to
Washington.

The Wrentham native’s time in the U.S. Senate has revealed to the state of Massachusetts and voters across the country that he represents the interests of his voters, recognizing the dire fiscal challenges which face this country and which can be overcome with the right character for compromise and integrity.

Brown went to Washington to stop ObamaCare. I hope that he returns to finish the job and re-introduce to Washington D.C. the honor due to constitutional rule and limited government as the Senator for the state where the "Shot Heard Round the World" was first fired.

I am pleased to see that Warren is having a hard time maintaining any consistent edge in the Bay State. Some polls suggest that she is two to three points behind, while other polls indicate a dead heat with the national guardsman recently promoted to the rank of colonel. As a conservative resident of liberal California, I cannot think of a sadder outcome than a dedicated fiscal conservative not returning to Washington for another term.
