Scavenger Hunt for Food Pantries
Four representatives from the Wilmington food pantry win the Scavenger Hunt for the Hungry on Saturday July 14.
Team Lemon Drops from The Wilmington Community Fund were the champions of the Scavenger Hunt for the Hungry which took place on Saturday July 14 at Lake Quannapowitt in Wakefield. This event was organized by Gathering Change, Inc. to raise funds for food pantries in neighboring towns and awareness regarding local hunger issues. Pictured l-r are Jo Marie O'Mahony, Bob DiPalma, Pam Almeida and Becky McGrath. The Lemon Drops completed the hunt in a record 52 minutes, 25 seconds.
