Clifton Lutheran Fundraiser for Haiti Relief - November 19th
Join Us for a "Taste of Haiti" Fundraiser to Help Haiti Recover from Hurricane Matthew

Clifton Lutheran Helps Haiti Respond to Hurricane Matthew
Please join us on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 4:00 pm at Clifton Lutheran Church, 150 Humphrey Street in Marblehead, for a taste of Haiti – featuring Haitian foods, Haitian art, and a special guest appearance from Fito Orvil from Le Group Melanj. Our fundraiser will benefit Mission of Hope, International (www.mohntl.com) as it helps the Haitian community recover and rebuild following the devastation of Hurricane Matthew.
There will be a limited number of Haitian art pieces to raffle off, in addition to raffles for gift baskets for a Taste of Salem, a Taste of Marblehead, and a Taste of Swampscott.

Mission of Hope, International (www.mohintl.org), based in Grand-Goâve, Haiti, is a faith-based community organization run by Lex and Renee Edme. Lex, a Haitian-born minister, and Renee, his American-born wife, have run MOHI since 2000. MOHI provides a high-quality, Christ-centered education to 800 children on two campuses. It feeds the hungry, assists orphans, creates sustainable and temporary employment opportunities and provides healthcare to remote regions and the people who need it most. One-hundred percent of the funds that MOHI receives goes directly to support the community.
Clifton Lutheran Church is honored to support MOHI in its efforts to rebuild. Members of our congregation have participated in three separate mission trips to Haiti, most recently in 2014 when we funded the construction of a house and led a week-long course in basic sewing skills which was open to the community.
