Curry Inducts Lynnfield Resident Into Sigma Beta Delta

Sigma Beta Delta was established to honor students who have attained superior records in business programs.

Curry College announced recently that Lynnfield's Sydney Johnian has been inducted into Sigma Beta Delta, the International Honor Society in Business, Management, and Administration. Johnian was one of 21 students inducted during a ceremony on the Curry College campus.

Sigma Beta Delta was established in 1994 and its mission is to encourage and recognize scholarship and accomplishment among students of business, management, and administration, and to encourage and promote aspirations toward personal and professional improvement and a life distinguished by honorable service to humankind. Sigma Beta Delta was established to honor students who have attained superior records in business programs in schools and colleges with regional accreditation. Curry College has been a charter member of Sigma Beta Delta since 2001.

In order to qualify for Sigma Beta Delta at Curry College, a student must be either a Business Management or Accounting major who has earned a minimum of 60 credits from Curry, and ranks in the upper 20 percent of their class.
