Destination Imagination Project Focuses on Concussion Prevention

Concussion education program is Wednesday, March 20 at LMS auditorium.

A group of Lynnfield 5th graders are helping to educate people about concussion prevention as part of their Destination Imagination project.

The students have reportedly met with several teachers, as well as Dr. Marc Pifko, as part of their work learning about concussions. They’ve reportedly spent several months learning about concussions, and will be bringing a concussion education program this month in conjunction with the Sports Legacy Institute.

The concussion education program is on Wednesday, March 20th at 7 p.m. in the Lynnfield Middle School Auditorium. The interactive program is geared toward students in grades 4-12, plus their parents and coaches, and is run by Boston University medical students.
