Dave Bailin & the Bailouts is a 5 piece soul rock band out of Salem MA who has been performing together since 2009. Front man David Bailin (guitar, vocals and harmonica) has been playing professionally as a soloist, duo, trio or full band since 1989, playing all over the North Shore. His unique style and taste in music draws from 1950’s R&B, blues, Bob Dylan, Stones, country and reggae, Radiohead. He has always written his own music and likes to cover songs that fit his style, some by popular artists but not necessarily the most popular songs; he has always dug a little deeper. Dave Bailin and the Bailouts is a downright fun band with a loyal following in Salem as steady fixtures at the Seaport Café and In a Pig’s Eye, gathering new fans every week as they are branching out on the North Shore playing in Newburyport (The Grog), Haverhill (Chit Chat Lounge), Amesbury (Murphy’s Riverside) and Gloucester (Minglewood Tavern). They are currently putting together new material for their first studio album due out in 2013.
