Free Children's Book Event with Author Susan Lubner

The North Suburban Jewish Community Center (NSJCC) in West Peabody invites the public to a free book reading and signing by renowned children's author Susan Lubner.

On Tuesday, January 31, Lubner will read from her books while children and their families enjoy milk and cookies. Children are encouraged to come to the event wearing their pajamas. Registration will open at 6:00 PM, and the program will begin promptly at 6:30. After the readings, the author will be available for book signings, where books can be purchased.

Winner of "Mom's Choice" Awards for Ruthie Bon Bair: Do Not Go To Bed with Wringing Wet Hair and Noises at Night, Lubner has been featured on the Today Show and speaks frequently around the country. Noises at Night is also featured as a recommended title in the education professional's resource book, ABC, Read to Me by Toni Buzzeo.

This event is the culmination of a month-long early childhood literacy campaign at the NSJCC, where guests including community leaders, grandparents and alumni participated in special events throughout the month of January to encourage excitement about reading.
