The Colon Cancer Alliance (http://ccalliance.org) has organized a series of races called the Undy 5000 5k and they take place throughout the United States. Unfortunately, they do not currently have an Undy 5000 in the Boston area but they do allow people to run "virtually" to support their cause. Team Miles for Marcie is running or walking our own Undy 5000 on Saturday, July 16th at 9am at Lake Quannapowitt in Wakefield, Massachusetts. This is a very casual event as there will be no timing, no water stops, nothing but her family and friends walking or running Miles for Marcie.
