SLYH Mite A team played Melrose in their inaugural game at a packed Kasabuski Arena. After a quick pre game pep talk by game Captain Brendan Heffron, play got underway. SLYH scored quickly in a team effort goal. Melrose roared back to even it up. There were some highlight reel goals by SLYH in between a few Melrose scores. The action went back and forth all game long. Cam Sullivan, playing his first game in net ever, saw a lot of rubber and made some unbelievable acrobatic saves. Melrose proved to be a tough opponent though and came out on top. Not to worry. This team looks like a resilient bunch and we'll look forward to our next game.
