FOLL Annual Meeting Is May 23

Annual Friends of the Lynnfield Library meeting is Wednesday, May 23. Group also still seeking donated items for annual book, DVD and CD fundraising sale.

The following is an announcement from the Friends of the Lynnfield Place:

The Annual Meeting of the Friends of Lynnfield Library will take place on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at 7:00 pm on the Library mezzanine.  Everyone is invited to the meeting -- members and anyone who has an interest in learning what we do to benefit the Library.   Light refreshments will be served at 6:30 pm with a brief business meeting at 7:00 pm. Highlights of the meeting will include a summary of the past year's activities, year-end financial reports, and election of new officers. Of special interest this year will be the improvements made to the Children's Room, which were partially funded by the Friends.

It is not too late to donate books for the Friends' spring book sale to be held on Saturday, May 19 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Donations of gently used small and large paperback books, music CDs, and DVDs, and hardcover or paperback children’s and young adult books are welcome. Leave boxed or bagged donations in the foyer, in the blue containers at the bottom of the entrance ramp, or at the Library Circulation desk.  Can't carry the books to us? Then we'll come to you. Call Alexis Gilbode at 781.608.4179 to schedule a pick-up.
