Girl Scout Troop Holding Peeps Diorama Contest
Dioramas featuring the popular colorful marshmallow treats will be on display at LHS the night of the Lynnfield Idol final.

The following was provided by Lynnfield Senior Girl Scout Troop 60071:
Lynnfield Senior Girl Scout Troop 60071 is pleased to announce a Peeps Diorama Contest, which will be held in the lobby of the Lynnfield High School prior to the finals of this year’s Lynnfield Idol Competition. Community members of all ages, shapes and sizes are invited to participate. The contest winner will be the ‘peep-le’s choice’ diorama, chosen by popular vote of those viewing the dioramas.
The rules of the competition are:

- Make a diorama using Peeps. Peeps come in many different shapes, and any of these can be used.
- The diorama should portray a scene from a movie.
- The entry fee for dioramas in a standard shoebox size of 12 inches by 8 inches or smaller is $5. Larger dioramas with a base of up to 16 inches by 12 inches cost $10. Checks should be made out to ‘Girl Scout Troop 60071’.
- Entries and payments must be dropped off by 8pm on Sunday, March 24th at 68 Crest Road, Lynnfield.
- Include with your entry a separate card including your name, contact information (phone and email) and a brief description of your Peeps scene.
- Dioramas will be displayed in the lobby of Lynnfield High School on March 27th from 6-7pm before the Lynnfield Idol Finals and then during intermission of the Lynnfield Idol Competition. During these times, viewers will vote for their favorite dioramas.
- If you would like to keep your diorama after the competition, pick it up at or before the end of the Lynnfield Idol Competition or it will be thrown away.
The winning diorama will be announced at the end of the Lynnfield Idol Competition, and a ‘Golden Peep’ will be awarded to the contest winner. May the best Peeps win!!
