Job Shadowing Day Needs Medical, Other Professionals
Each May, Lynnfield Business Coalition matches up local high school students and companies for a job shadowing day. This year, professionals are still sought in areas like medicine, finance and engineering.
In its 15-year history, the Lynnfield Business Coalition's Job Shadowing Day has matched up more than 750 local high school students with area companies to help them learn more about industries they may want to work in someday.
This year, there is a particular need for professionals in several industries, reports Rich Mazzola of the Lynnfield Business Coalition. Particularly, he notes that about a half dozen students are interested in being matched up with professionals working in the medical industry.
Professionals in the following industries are also currently sought for interested students for this year's job shadowing day:

- Radiology
- Financial Planning/Management
- Management Consulting
- Fashion Design
- Science/Research
- Marine Biology
- Pediatrics
- Mechanical and Electrical Engineering
"We're looking for help from people in the community who would be able to help place some of these kids," Mazzola told Lynnfield Patch.
