Join Library Director Nancy Ryan on Thursday evenings on the Library mezzanine from 6:30-7:30 p.m. for some great conversation and light refreshments as we begin a new year of great reads!
We always welcome newcomers! On September 22 everyone shares two or three of their favorite summer reads with the group. On October 20 we discuss A Great Improvisation: Franklin, France and the Birth of America by Stacy Schiff and on November 17 Alone Together: Why We Expect More from Technology and Less from Each Other by Sherry Turkle. December 15 brings Dreaming in Hindi: Coming Awake in Another Language by Katherine Russell Rich and the New Year In Patagonia by Bruce Chatwin on January 19, 2012. February 16 we discuss The Greater Journey: Americans in Paris by popular hisotorian David McCullough and March 15 Grant Wood: A Life by R. Tripp Evens. We round out the year on April 19 with Civil War Boston: Home Front and Battle Field by noted Boston author Thomas O’Connor and on May 17 Cleopatra: A Life by Stacy Schiff.
