Lenten Offerings at Saint Maria Goretti Parish

Those celebrating the Lenten season should note offerings from Lynnfield's Saint Maria Goretti parish.

LYNNFIELD, MA—Saint Maria Goretti Parish has released its upcoming offerings for those who are celebrating the lenten season. The offerings are as follows below, according to the release:

On Thursday evening, February 18, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m., Grief Support Group. Tom Adamczyk and Donna Hegan, Facilitators.

On Sunday, February 21, at 2:00 pm, “From Darkness to Light” concert featuring local musicians, as well as special guests, for a variety of musical styles and genres.

On Thursday evening, March 3, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.,Who is St. Maria Goretti?”Guided meditation, the story of our youngest saint, faith-sharing, discussion, and a collation.

On Thursday evening, March 10, from 6:30 to 8:00 pm, members of the parish will speak about their personal journeys of faith -- from pain, to recovery, to healing.

On Sunday afternoon, March 13, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m., a demonstration and explanation of a Passover Seder supper will be presented by Dr. Celia Sirois, and Naomi Towvim, a Jewish educator for the Anti-Defamation League.

On Friday evening, March 18, at 6:00 p.m., you are invited to a meatless Lenten Supper in the Parish Hall, followed by Children’s Stations of the Cross at 7:00 p.m.

On Palm Sunday, March 20, following the 10:00 a.m. Mass, a collation will be held in the parish hall. Registration for next year’s faith formation classes for Religious Education students.

On Saturday evening, March 26, following the Easter Vigil Services, all are invited to attend a collation downstairs in the Parish Hall to celebrate the Resurrection of Christ.
