Basketball team is 15-0 after quarterfinal win; Marblehead up next.

The Lynnfield High School basketball season may be over but don't think for a minute that the local gym is suddenly quiet. Far from it.
The Lynnfield 8th grade travel basketball team is 15-0 this season and playing Saturday in the semifinals of the Eastern Basketball Travel Association Tournament. After beating Danvers, 56-54, in the quarterfinals on a 3-pointer with 5.5 seconds to play, coach Leo Fama has his top-seeded team headed for Gordon College to face Marblehead at 10:45 a.m.
Marblehead beat Revere, 55-29 in their quarterfinal matchup. Depending on who comes out of the Elimination Group, the title game of the double-elimination tournament could be Sunday.

The team is composed of Lauren Braconnier, Ava Buonfiglio, Julianna Fama, Grace Klonsky, Lauren Mitchell, Madison Murphy, Megan Nevils, Emma Riley, Erin Sharkey, and Caroline Waisnor.
