Lynnfield Advances to North Div. 3 Finals
The Lynnfield Pioneers ran through Saugus in their semifinal matchup, and advanced to the tournament finals.
LYNNFIELD, MA—The Lynnfield Pioneers Boys' Basketball Team is on the cusp of a MIAA North Division 3 championship this season after topping Saugus in the Semifinals Wednesday.
The Pioneers dominated Saugus by a count of 53-29. They are set to take on No. 5 Bedford in the tournament finals.
Bedford knocked off No. 1 North Reading in their semifinal matchup, and bring a 16-7 record into the championship game. Lynnfield topped Newburyport by a score of 68-57 in their quarterfinal matchup.
