Lynnfield Assistant Principal Takes Reading Middle School Position

READING, MA—Richele Shankland, the current assistant principal at Lynnfield Middle School, is leaving the district to become the principal of Parker Middle School in Reading.

The Reading Superintendent's office announced Monday that Shankland, who has been with Lynnfield for the past 16 years, will take the role at Parker Middle School. Shankland was chosen after a long decision process and a public feedback process.

"Her leadership style, strong interpersonal skills and knowledge of curriculum and instruction will be an excellent match for the Parker Middle School Community," read the announcement.

Shankland will begin her duties on July First.
