The Lynnfield boys' basketball team earned a No. 4 seed in the MIAA Division 3 North tournament, according to pairings released Friday afternoon. The Pioneers will host No. 13 seed Stoneham on Monday at 7 p.m. The Spartans come into the tournament 8-13 but won 50 percent of their games against Division 3 opponents.
Should Lynnfield win Monday, they'd advance to the quarterfinals against the winner of the game between Whittier (15-5) and Northeast Voke (8-12).

The top seed in the sectional is Watertown at 18-2. Newburyport (17-3) is second followed by Weston (17-3).
