Lynnfield Democrats Hear an Immigrant's Story
At the monthly meeting of the Lynnfield Democratic Town Committee, one of the speakers told her story of immigrating to the US as a child.

Ms. Yonerky Santana-Ramos, a field organizer from Seth Moulton’s Campaign, was one of two speakers who addressed the Lynnfield Democratic Town Committee’s monthly meeting on June 20th. She was sent to the United States to live with an aunt when she was nine, along with her older sister, after their mother had died in the Dominican Republic. The situation was not ideal and Yonerky had many hardships, yet she worked hard to do well in school and graduated at the top of her class. She now works for the campaign of Seth Moulton, Congressman, and is a permanent resident of the U.S.
The other speaker was Ms. Morgan Sperry from the Elizabeth Warren campaign, who told of her interest in politics and social issues, and her decision to work for Elizabeth Warren. Ms. Sperry found that Senator Warren was working on the very same issues that she was concerned about, so she found a way to get involved first by volunteering, and then later was hired as a staff member.
Both young women were very interesting speakers, and were much appreciated by the group. The usual business meeting followed the speakers.
