Lynnfield High School students study the financial options available to them during the recent Invest in Life Fair at the school. During the fair, the students selected an occupation and were given a salary and credit score, and then met with advisors to make important life decisions based on those factors. After making their choices, the student met with a financial advisor from the Lynnfield business community who discussed the results and alternatives with the students. The interactive financial education opportunity was designed to guide students in making sound financial decisions as they prepare for life beyond graduation.
Presented through a partnership between The Savings Bank, Lynnfield Rotary and Lynnfield High School, the first annual Invest in Life Fair was partially funded by a $4,000 grant from the State Treasurer’s Office.
