In Lynnfield It's Time To Run ... For Office That is

Nomination papers available from Town Clerk for April 10 elections.

Lynnfield Town Clerk Trudy Reid announced this week that nomination papers for the 2018 Annual Town Election are now available in the Town Clerk’s office. Lynnfield's annual town election is Tue., April 10.

Papers must be returned no later than 5 pm on Feb. 21st. In order to get your name on the ballot, nomination papers must be certified with at least 50 signatures of Lynnfield registered voters. It’s highly suggested you obtain 60-65 signatures to be sure you have at least 50 that are eligible for certification.

Board of Selectmen - one seat for a three-year term

Board of Assessors - one seat for a three-year term

Board of Library Trustees - two seats for a three-year term

Town Moderator - one seat, for a one-year term

Planning Board - one seat for a five-year term, one seat for a 2 year term to fill an unexpired term

Housing Authority - one seat for a five year term

School Committee - two seats for a three-year term
