Lynnfield Lineman Signs with UConn
The Pioneer offensive lineman will be competing for the Huskies in the American Athletic Conference.

LYNNFIELD, MA—College Football’s National Signing Day has passed, and a Lynnfield player is moving on to compete in major college football.
Lynnfield High School offensive lineman Cameron DeGeorge has signed his letter of intent to play at the University of Connecticut next season. DeGeorge was named the Lineman of the Year and was a First Team All-Cape Ann League Baker Division selection.
Standing at 6-foot-5 and weighing in at 260 pounds according to the UConn Football website, DeGeorge was a varsity starter since his freshman year and lead the Pioneers to the Cape Ann League Baker Division title in 2015. DeGeorge was also a Boston Globe All-Scholastic selection.

According to a report by ESPN, DeGeorge had previously verbally committed to play at Syracuse University.
