Dec. 1
Caller reports "banging drums" at Pocahontas Springs on Lowell Street and a fire lit in wetlands. Police investigated.

Dec. 2
Caller reports injured deer in the road on Lowell Street. Deer is deceased, moved to side of road, DPW notified. (On a happier note, another deer was hit, also Dec. 2, on Main Street and was able to run off into the woods.)

A caller at the Christmas Tree Shop on Broadway reported a shopping car hit her vehicle.
The fire department called reporting vehicles parked on both sides of Melody Lane and the fire truck wouldn't be able to get down the street. Police said all vehicles were legally parked and the gathering was soon ending.
Dec. 3
Caller reported someone collecting for the Salvation Army standing in traffic. Police spoke with the person.
