Lynnfield To Be Featured In A Zip Trip

In a couple of weeks, Lynnfielders will have the opportunity to see their town featured on one of Fox 25's popular "Zip Trip" segments, which feature short visits to towns in the Boston area.

That said, what should be highlighted about Lynnfield? It's a small place with a rich tradition. There's an excellent chance the TV crew will spend some time on the town common capturing some of the town's iconic images, including the Old Meeting House. Whether they decide to try to is a far less likely proposition, but you never know.

Finally, those TV segments usually include a visit to a local business or two. Too bad the iconic "Ship" restaurant is currently between incarnations. But is there another restaurant in town that has a distinctive menu item, great character, or which would otherwise merit a visit from a TV crew? I can think of a couple.
