MarketStreet Holds Girl Empowerment Event Sunday
Boys and girls of all ages are invited for a fun and inspiring afternoon of empowering activities.

LYNNFIELD – MarketStreet Lynnfield will hold its popular children’s event, Girl Empowerment, this Sunday, Sept. 16th from 1-3 p.m. Boys and girls of all ages are invited for a fun and inspiring afternoon of empowering activities including crafts, mini makeovers and live music. Girl Empowerment is the latest in a line of female forward initiatives for MarketStreet, which recently welcomed several more women owned businesses to the property.
Each participant will receive a Girl Empowerment cinch bag and a special passport directing them to complete activities across the property including rock painting for MarketStreet’s kindness rock garden, Athleta yoga pose selfie station and mini makeovers at Sephora. Guests will also be treated to a special musical performance from local Lynnfield artist, Katrina Gustafson.

Girl Empowerment is the latest way in which MarketStreet is celebrating women in its community. Recently, MarketStreet Lynnfield welcomed Andover Bear Company and Scout & Molly’s to the property, which join other women-owned businesses Pia, Pink Parkway, The Grove, Pretty Poppy as well as soon to be opened Southern Tide.
“From hosting events like Girl Empowerment to supporting female owned businesses, we take great pride in continuing to elevate the voices of women in our community. MarketStreet is home to a great number of female entrepreneurs and we celebrate the opportunity to continue to grow their ranks and welcome inspiring events that bring women of all ages together,” says Christina Barrows, General Manager of MarketStreet Lynnfield.

Admission to Girl Empowerment is complimentary and will take place on The Green at MarketStreet Lynnfield.
