New Lynnfield Child Care Center Receives $560K Grant

Little Treasures Schoolhouse has brought six job openings to the community.

Little Treasures Schoolhouse in Lynnfield opened last month after receiving $562,000 in loans.

The schoolhouse is an expansion from the original Little Treasures Schoolhouse in Reading.

Reading Co-operative Bank’s Small Business Banking Partnership extended the loan to the child care center to fund the startup of the new Lynnfield location.

The new Little Treasures Schoolhouse has brought six new job openings to the community. Owner and manager Mary Grimmer said additional child care providers will be hired in the near future.

“We are excited to become part of a new community and are grateful for the Small Business Banking Partnership and Reading Co-operative Bank for their faith and commitment to Little Treasures and small businesses,” Grimmer said.

The Little Treasures Schoolhouse offers care to infants, toddlers, pre-schoolers and pre-kindergarten children. “My mission has always been to provide the highest quality care and education that will prepare our students for their future educational and life experiences,” Grimmer said.
