Nichols Kinnon Breaks Two Records at State Meet
Lynnfield star leads Pioneers to fifth place finish in Division 5.

Lynnfield High School junior Nichols Kinnon broke a pair of state records Friday at the Division 5 meet in Boston.
His winning time of 36.18 in the 300 at the Reggie Lewis Center beat the previous record of 36.51 set by Bishop Fenwick's Charlie Maistrellis in 2014. He also broke the record in the 55 dash with a time of 6.57. But despite the record, he finished second to Oakmont junior John Caouette who turned in a 6.55. The previous record was 6.58 and set last year by Garrett Morris of Bishop Stang.
Lynnfield finished fifth in the team competition with 26 points.
