Northern Essex Community College: Eight Earn NJCAA All-Academic Honors

The National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) announced that eight Northern Essex Community College student-athletes have earned All-Academic honors for the 2020-21 academic year.

In order to be eligible for the award, student-athletes must maintain a grade point average of 3.60 or higher and successfully complete a minimum of 24 credits during the year.

Based on the overall grade point average for the year student-athletes are named either First (4.0), Second (3.8-3.99) or Third Team (3.6-3.79) All-Academic.

Tom Grassi (Windham, NH) men’s basketball

Jesus Guzman (Lawrence) men’s soccer

Jack Latauskas (Byfield/Whittier Tech) men’s soccer

Todd Tringale (Saugus) baseball

Frank Gulezian (Manchester, NH) baseball

Kyle Hsu (Brookline, NH) baseball

Cristian Kinsley (Lawrence) basketball

Ethan Rousseau (Haverhill, Whittier Tech) men’s soccer

Northern Essex is preparing for a full return to intercollegiate competition for all of its varsity athletic programs for the 2021-22 academic year and will kick the off with the inaugural NECC Athletics BBQ KNIGHT on Tuesday August 10th.
