Open Mic Night At The Meetinghouse Wednesday

Note: The following is an announcement from the Lynnfield Choral Parents Association.

There will be an acoustic open mic night at the Lynnfield Meeting House on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at 7 pm.   Acoustic open mic means there will be no amplified sound system, and, in this case, no microphone.  The cozy atmosphere in this historical building will be ideal for the unplugged event.

Prospective adult and high school performers may register by emailing LynnfieldOpenMic@yahoo.com.  Any kind of “G” rated performance is acceptable; music, song, poetry, spoken word, comedy.   A two piece or five minute maximum (whichever is shorter) has been set for each performer.  There will be an electric keyboard, a tape/cd player and an iPod speaker dock available on request.

The Lynnfield Acoustic Open Mic Night will be hosted by Lynnfield Choral Parents Association to raise funds for Lynnfield High School’s fall musical.  Admission will be $5.00.
