It was one of those perfect summer nights that only seem to exist in lemonade commercials and childhood memories.
Heading out of the June selectmen's meeting, I didn't quite feel like heading back in to type articles. So I took my camera and went out on the open lands between the Boston Sports Club and the King Rail Golf Course.
The setting sun created a number of interesting photo effects and forced me to work rather quickly and to re-shoot some scenes a couple of times. Hence the title, "Playing With Light."

Much of this area will look dramatically different in the coming months as construction on the Market Street at Lynnfield project gets underway.
Looking at these photos, I was struck by just how beautiful some parts of Lynnfield actually are - places that not all residents may even know about. Since the snow melted, I have been trying to visit and photograph all of the town's open spaces and conservation lands.

I like these photos a lot. A couple of them feel like the best ones I've ever taken for this website. In fact, the temptation to just slip and post a couple of them on the Lynnfield Patch Facebook page over the past week has been tremendous. So with that, I hope you'll enjoy these photos of the town as much as I enjoyed taking them.
