PHOTO: Sacco Family Announces New Clinic

Last week, this website , the a 2003 Lynnfield High School grad who lost his life to cancer at the age of 20.

In today's Photo of the Day, the Sacco family is shown with Carl Stevens of WBZ Radio at Tufts Medical Center.

In an email announcement this week, the Sacco family wrote, "This clinic and program address all of the elements of the mission we set forth more than seven years ago: To improve awareness, advocacy, access to clinical trials, clinical & scientific research, and education (of caregivers, patients, and families).  All these mission elements are critical to realizing our Vision of seeing that day when cancers in this age group are routinely curable."

Also, the leaves from the Lynnfield High School parking lot at 7 a.m. this Sunday, July 15, with more than 400 cyclists expecting to ride 28 miles to Stagefort Park in Gloucester to raise money for cancer research.
