PHOTOS: Bennett Keenan Conservation Area

The Bennett Keenan Conservation Area is located on Lynnfield's border with North Reading and the Ipswich River.

This summer I've run photo galleries of the various conservation areas in town, and I was particularly glad to get some of these shots. That's because there is currently no public access to the area, and the land is primarily used by public entities such as the Lynnfield Central Water District and the Department of Public Works.

An old railroad corridor now serves as a dirt road through the area, which is marshy and fairly heavily wooded.
