PHOTOS: The Winter That Wasn't

As we prepare to enter mid-March, something is telling me that those snowscape photos I was thinking about are going to have to wait for another season. It was such a snow-less and unseasonably warm winter that I'm surprised this little coating of snow has even remained in Lynnfield this far into the week - although warm temperatures are expected to make most of it vanish by the weekend.

With that, here's a handful of photos taken of one of the town's open spaces the day after a recent, alleged snow storm.

And looking ahead to the spring and summer, eventually the opportunity to shoot that black and white photo gallery I've been considering will come up - although this handful of shots may as well be. If anything, local photographers will have a lot more color to work with in just a few short weeks.
