Recent LHS Grad Selected for Nason Memorial Scholarship

The Essex County Youth Foundation has announced that Lynnfield resident Adannia Nwangwu has been selected for the Henry and Ruth Nason Memorial Scholarship.

Nwangwu, a recent graduate of Lynnfield High School, plans to study chemical engineering and after graduation hopes to attend medical school.

In Lynnfield, she was also a student at Chiampa Dance Center and performed with fellow students at the 2012 Topsfield Fair at the Essex County Youth Foundation building.

The scholarship is named in memory of former West Boxford residents Henry and Ruth Nason, who were known for their many years of working with young people, particularly through 4H while also playing a major role in the construction of the current Essex County Youth Building at the Topsfield Fair.
