The town has announced a sharps disposal collection day at the DPW recycling center behind town hall this Saturday, June 1 from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Residents can bring their sharps in a sealable, puncture-resistant container. The town will not accept loose needles or sharps in bags or glass containers. The next scheduled collection day is on November 16, 2013 and will coincide with the town's household hazardous waste collection day.
