If effort and shots were recorded, Kasabuski would have needed a bigger scoreboard for this Stars team. They left it all out on the ice today but ran into a hot goaltender for Danvers. Abby Travers led the team with a quote from Mr. Hockey, "You've got to love what you're doing. If you love it, you can overcome any handicap, or the soreness, or all the aches and pains and continue to play for a long, long time." Abby almost found the five hole with a nice shot and she is looking more ferocious out there every game. Timmy Sullivan got the Stars on the board after picking the pocket of a Danvers defenseman. Timmy would net two more including a buzzer beater at the end of the game for the hat trick. Anthony Grabau had a stellar game today, assisting on Timmy's second goal and digging hard to score his first of the season. Jonathan Soares lit the lamp himself with a sweet shot from the left circle. Stevie Migliero picked up where he left off and found the back of the net after receiving a perfect feed from Cam Sullivan. Jimmy Driscoll and James Glowacz keep using their size and strength to muscle opposing players off the puck. This opens things up for Mike Murphy and Jack Glowacz to do their thing. Mike keeps getting better every game! Both of these players showed extra hustle today. Jack has been working hard every game and finally earned a well deserved game puck. Brendan Heffron played Bergeron-like today with some excellent two way hockey, digging hard at both ends of the ice. The score was kept close because Joseph Soares used his head in net today, literally. That nice white helmet has a few more puck marks after Joseph sacrificed his face to save the puck. Just a really fun, evenly matched game today! It's obvious from the smiles on the bench how much this team loves to play!
