Summer Street School Auction Raised $18K

On Saturday, April 27, the Summer Street School’s PTO hosted its largest fundraiser of the year at the Ferncroft Country Club. The fiesta-themed event featured a fun and festive atmosphere with delicious food, a DJ and dancing, over 70 silent auction items and close to 40 raffles. The primary goal of the event was to raise funds for student enrichment programs, as well as for much needed materials in the classrooms.

On behalf of the fiesta fundraiser committee, we would like to take this opportunity to thank the Lynnfield community, local businesses and families who generously sponsored our event and donated silent auction and raffle items to help make our fundraiser a huge success. The event raised close to $18,000, which will benefit all of the children in the school!

We were successful because of the support of many wonderful parents and committee members who solicited donations, contributed to class baskets, attended auction prep gatherings, transported, decorated and set-up for the event, and of course attended and made it a fun evening!
