The Savings Bank Announces Home For The Brave Program

The Savings Bank announces Home For The Brave program to help finance homes for veterans, active duty personnel, and surviving spouses.

The following is an announcement from The Savings Bank:

Brian Casey, center, was the first local U.S. Armed Services veteran to close on a home mortgage through The Savings Bank’s Home for the Brave program. The Savings Bank has launched this exciting new mortgage program for veterans and active duty military personnel through its partnership with MassHousing. Joining Brian at the closing were Jeff D’Alessandro, left, Retail Lending Officer, The Savings Bank; and Attorney Scott Garrant, right, of Wilmington, closing Attorney for The Savings Bank.

The Home for the Brave program offers up to 100% financing for single family homes and condominiums, and up to 95% financing for two or four family multi-family homes for Massachusetts residents who qualify for the program. The program is available to U.S. Armed Services veterans, active duty personnel and surviving spouses of military personnel.
