In their second game at another hopping Kasabuski arena the SLYH Stars played Cape Ann in a nail biter. Jonathan Soares led the team with a quick motivational quote from Wayne Gretzky. Goalie, Abigail Travers, stoned Cape Ann for a good portion of the game. Cape Ann finally broke through with a goal. Down 1-0, the Stars evened it up 1-1 with a blue collar effort from the forwards. Both teams exchanged a few more goals, carrying a 3-3 score heading into the final 10 minutes. Eventually Cape Ann wore down the Stars with grinding effort goals to take a lead that they wouldn't relinquish. No one on the Stars team seemed fazed. They will learn from this loss and work harder next game.
