Two More Added To Fields Committee
Bob Priestley and Kevin Sullivan added to committee that will oversee development of fields complex off Main Street near the Middleton line.

The committee responsible for overseeing the project to develop a fields complex off Main Street near the Middleton line is now complete, with the final two out of five members announced this week.
Bob Priestley and Kevin Sullivan are the new members of the committee. On Monday night, Selectman Al Merritt reported that the committee had received six written inquiries about joining. Others considered were Tom Kayola, Joe Dinanno, Tom Terranova, and Alan Dresios.
Merritt, the selectmen's liaison to the fields committee, explained that Sullivan spent 12 years on the recreation commission and as a coach for various town sports. Priestley is a former Rotary Club president whose photography is regularly seen in local media and who also has experience in the civil engineering sector.
Now that the full committee is in place, activity on the fields project will continue at a fairly steady pace. At Monday night's meeting, selectmen also approved a request for proposals with an eye on opening proposals and beginning the evaluation process by June 18. The proposals would be for the initial engineering work at the site, which is a large open parcel owned by the Lynnfield Center Water District.
