VIDEO: Lynnfield Community Choir

A community choir of some 70 town residents came together under the leadership of Douglas Hodgkins to sing at Sunday's 9/11 memorial service.

Music was an essential part of Sunday evening's 9/11 memorial service on the Lynnfield Common.

The event started with a bagpiper-led procession, and wound down with a choir of some 70 community members singing "We Are Bound For Greater Things," by Ken Medema. The community choir consisted of volunteers lined up by the Lynnfield 911 Committee and was led by Lynnfield High School Music Director Douglas Hodgkins.

The second video here shows the community joining together to sing the National Anthem at the outset of the service on the Lynnfield Common.
