Video: Songs At The Lynnfield Senior Center II

On Tuesday, I stopped by the Lynnfield Senior Center to get some photos and videos of the Forever Young Singers. The Peabody-based singers perform at the senior center regularly and this week performed a number of crowd-pleasing favorites from the '40s and '50s.

In this video, Jim DePhillippo performs "Tennessee Waltz," which, according to Wikipedia, was written in 1946 by Redd Stewart and Pee Wee King. The entry adds that over the years, it was covered by artists ranging from Patti Page (1950) to Les Paul, who actually did versions with two different singers.
