Volunteer opportunities including joining the community choir, helping to place flags on the town common, and to read names of the attack victims.

The 10th anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks is only a few weeks away, and Lynnfield is planning a day of memorial activities to mark the occasion.
The Lynnfield 911 Committee is continuing to finalize its plan for a day-long observation this Sunday, Septmber 11.
Organizers could still use several dozen volunteers to help out with the day. Specifically, people are welcome to join the community choir, led by Douglas Hodgkins of Lynnfield High School, to sing a couple of songs during the memorial.
